Neo-Jazz/Fusion group Basses International is a collaborated effort by bassists Bill Plummer on amplified acoustic bass and Wolfgang Melz on Fender precision bass designed specifically for their two bass stereo lead ensemble. Along for this recording is Glen Meyerscough on tenor sax and flute, Jim Szilagyi on acoustic piano, Dan Ferguson on keyboards and electronic guitar and Billy Mintz on drums and rhythmic devices. Locally, they have appeared at Jazz Festivals including Mammoth Lakes, Idyllwild and Palm Springs. The members have performed with Ernie Watts, Andre Crouch, Paul Horn, Don Ellis, Miles Davis, Charles Lloyd, Judee Sill, and Quincy Jones to name a few.
