Carl Michael Von Hausswolff on the pieces: "'Conductor' might be my favorite composition and 'Life and Death of Pboc' might be my most sincere. 'Conductor' was my first composed piece with no obvious reference points... 'Life and Death of Pboc' was the second. These two compositions gave me the title Godfather of Dark Ambient."
